镇江市公安局新区分局日前破获一起装修诈骗案。去年12月18日，镇江新区港城尚府小区的多名业主集中报案称，为其提供装修的家装公司“红利装饰”人去楼空，总计60余万预付装修款被骗，同时报案的还有附近几家提供装修材料的供应商。“墙地面处理、水电都做好了，基础装修已经结清账目，他们告诉我下一阶段购买主材需提前付款，这也合情合理，于是当即又交付6万元。”业主王永和说，“这些前期工作让我很满意，谁想到他们是骗子呢?”
据犯罪嫌疑人朱某交代，自己也曾因替他人装修而被骗数万元，后一直未能找到骗子追回财产，因而萌生用同样方式行骗的想法。与犯罪嫌疑人吴某商定后，朱某通过小广告办理假身份证、假营业执照，通过物业购买业主资料，没费太大力气就行骗成功。
目前，在装修行业，家装公司会同业主签订设计合同、基础施工合同、主材合同等多个合同，根据不同合同规定，有的先付款、有的后付款、有的先付部分款，基本没有真正意义上的“先装修后付款”。“装修费用的大头，即主材进场后的工程，一般都需提前收取全部或大部分主材款，至多留10%左右的尾款，待装修全部完成后一次性结清。这就给行骗者可趁之机。”经侦民警提醒市民，选择家装公司时，一定仔细甄别。
